i ran suspension on my bike because i used it for street, and down hill (at the best of my abilities which, in that area, suck) and DJ'ing. oh, and of course, trials. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/2216556/ it is true that it wears down quick, i had to rebuild the fork twice in a year of biking (6 months up here in Prince George). But it is nice to have at first, i guess its because when i screwed up on drops, it wasn't hard on my wrist/hand area. eventually i went to solid and that makes side hops easier and spinning is a whole lot more fun. http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/3203696/ then i snapped my evolve frame, so norco sent me a manifesto frame (for free) which is now totally amazing and way better at (more) spinning, but sucks harcore for the bunnyhops. a little paint, a real seat and she looks like this! http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/4268849/ http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/4268851/

yaa the sd3's were good, but the hs33's are a million times better, im actually using a different frame now, its a simtra st-1 instead of taht evolve that you commented on
